Dennis Wayne Everett

Dennis Wayne Everett, 55, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at his home. He was born June 6, 1966 in Athens, Greece to the late Jerry and Shirley (Pope) Everett. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a project engineer for WestRock Corp. He loved music (especially metal), a good joke, dogs (especially his boyhood favorite, “Dog” and our, “Scout”), playing pranks, a great steak, and above all his family who were the reason for everything he did.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Everett and Stephanie Naylor.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Everett of the home; two sons, Aidan and Evan Everett, both of the home; aunts, uncles, close cousins, and friends; and a nephew, Almamy Everett.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.

Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 with the family visiting with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
