David Michael Bruce

David Michael Bruce, 67, of Alma, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born June 8, 1955 in South Hill, VA to the late Eugene and Lorene (Ashby) Bruce. He retired from the Fort Smith School District.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Micah Bruce and Christopher Allen Bruce.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bruce of the home; three sons, Michael Bruce of Alma, David Allen Bruce of Fort Smith, and Payton Michael Bruce of Van Buren; two sisters, Linda Ann Hutchson of Chase City, VA, and Beverly K. Newcomb of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Manuel V. Bruce of Littleton, NC, and Robert S. Bruce of Chase City, VA; and a great-grandson, Roenan Bruce.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
