Billy G. Morse

Billy G. Morse, 60, of Alma, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was born November 19, 1954 in Mulberry. He was the owner/operator of Morse Service & Repair. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and loyal friend. He was preceded in death his father, E.J. Morse, and a sister, Tammie Lea Morse.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Morse of the home; a daughter, Angie Rogers and husband Matt of Ozark; two sons, Stephen Morse and wife Kristie, and Ryan Morse and wife Chelsea all of Alma; two stepsons, Joey Tudor of Van Buren, and Kevin Tudor of Alma; his mother, Emma Morse of Alma; six sisters, Peggy Pettitt and husband Alfred of Alma, Barbara Goodson and husband Doyle of Roland, Jackie Sandmier and husband Allen of Greenwood, Jeannie Lanhem and husband Will of Vian, Vanita Clark and husband Billy of Van Buren, and Margie Miller and husband Jay of Natural Dam; two brothers, Bobby Morse of Barling, and Joe Morse and wife Jeannette of Van Buren; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Ellison, Rick Hamilton, Nelson Nichols, Micky Shephard, Joey Tudor, and Kevin Tudor.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
