Betty Newton Stephens, 83, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Van Buren. She was born October 5, 1940 in Oklahoma to the late William and Viola Newton. She retired from F & H Ribbon in Euless, TX.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Reed and Donna Miller, both of Van Buren; a son, Ronald Fuller of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Vasquez, Christopher Reed, Ashton Vasquez, Dylan Vasquez, Dillon Lamproe and Damion Tarvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Helm, Larry Newton, Eddie Woolsey and Bryson Vasquez.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
