In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Spessard.
She is survived her children, Shirley Coyley, Lena Tate-Allen, and Greg Spessard; a sister, Rebecca Fortner; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a step-grandson.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
