Charles David Bowman

Charles David Bowman, age 55, of Valdese, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 12, 2013. He was born the son of the late Charles Clayton Bowman and Ruby Anthony Bowman on June 15, 1958 in Valdese. David was of the Baptist Faith and was a kind man. He will be greatly missed.

David is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jerry Dean Bowman.

Those left behind to cherish David’s memory include his mother, Ruby Anthony Bowman of the home; a sister, Lisa Bowman Cox and her fiancé , Dean Greene of Hudson; and four nieces, Jennifer Cox and her fiancé, Adam Schultz, Brandi Cox and her fiancé, Logan Greene, Alexis Greene and Davanee Greene.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 15, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of Valdese Family Funeral Care with Rev. Carroll Anthony officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Burke Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ruby Bowman to assist with medical and funeral expenses.

Valdese Family Funeral Care and Cremation Service has the honor of serving the Bowman family.
