Sarah Elizabeth Brandt, 91, of Alta Loma, California, died on July 23, 2018 at home, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born August 16, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to California when she was 16. She and her husband, Marvin, were married for 72 years and have lived in Alta Loma for 68 years. She worked for Alta Loma School District for 23 years, retiring in 1987, with her last position being Administrative Secretary, Payroll/Benefits. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, where she served on Church Council, Serving Other Circle, and taught Sunday School. She was active in PTA for over 20 years and received an honorary life membership award for her service. After retirement, she and Marvin were active in the Kids Over Age RV Club and enjoyed many camping trips and gatherings. They traveled to Hawaii and England with friends and enjoyed many RV camping
trips with family as well. She loved to sew and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and embroidery, as well as gardening.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Marvin Brandt, daughter Sharyn (Richard) Klassen, daughter Marlys (Jerry) Myrdahl, son Darryl (Ann) Brandt, daughter Lori (Doug) Lindsey, eight grandchildren and their spouses, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and all six siblings and their spouses.
