father, and grandfather passed away on the morning of May 7th at the age of
seventy-six surrounded by family and friends.
Paul was born the second eldest son to Sam and Minnie Teresa in Salinas,
CA. on September 2, 1946. He graduated from Chaffey High School in 1964.
Paul married his wife Connie in November 1965 followed closely by his
service in the U.S. Army in April, 1966 where he was stationed at Fort Hood
in Killeen, TX. as a member of Hell on Wheels unit. After his service, he
then started his career as an auto painter at his father’s body shop in Pomona,
CA. He continued painting cars until his retirement at age 67.
Through the years, Paul enjoyed playing golf, entering car shows, and
spending time with his family. He loved visiting his lifelong friends Dominic
and Joe Brucato during their weekly lunches. He was a true artist, painting
many oil paintings for loved ones.
Paul’s greatest joy in life came when his granddaughter was born in 2001. He
loved spending time with her playing games and teaching her how to golf.
They had a very special bond that will continue on and can never be broken.
He was so proud of her.
Paul recently battled many medical conditions with the same quiet dignity
and grace which he exhibited throughout his life. He overcame a lot in the
past four years. His family would like to extend their thanks to everyone that
was by his side through all of the health problems.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie Teresa of fifty-seven years, his
children Paul Teresa Jr., Jennifer Teresa-Kim (Kwang Kim), his
granddaughter Katelynn Kim, and brothers Joe (Sandy Teresa), Sam (June
Teresa), Rocky (Loretta Teresa), many nieces, nephews, as well as countless
friends and family.
His friends and family are invited to share happy memories and celebrate
Paul’s life in the way he would want to be remembered - as a loving and
caring man that loved life.
He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
