Kelly Ann Schick (aka Boogie) passed away of heart complications on October 11, 2022 at the young age of 49. Kelly was born in Upland, CA on January 24, 1973 at San Antonio Hospital. Her parents were John Edward Schick and Margaret (Penny) Schick. She is survived by her two children, Nathan (age 19) and Breanna (age 16), and her brothers Richie and Doug. Kelly was a loving and proud aunt to Phillip, Rachel, Ciera, and Shane and great aunt to Everett. Growing up, she attended Jasper Elementary, Alta Loma Jr. High, and graduated with the class of 91 at Alta Loma High School. After high school, she attended dental assistant school and worked with a dentist for some time. She worked at multiple day cares and assisted with after school programs. Kelly was co-owner, along with her brothers, of Fabco Steel Fabrication.
In her youth, Kelly was an athlete. She played softball, soccer, and volleyball. Her favorite activites were always centered around water. Kelly loved the river, backyard swimming pools, and spending time at the beach house with family and friends. She loved acting silly, laughing, and surprising people with gifts and making common occasions an event. She was an avid Angels, LA Kings, and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She also loved Gwen Stefani, Marilyn Monroe, and Madonna.
Funeral Services will be held at Stone Funeral Home 355 East 9th Street in Upland,CA on October 27th. Viewing will be available from 10:00-11:30, with services beginning thereafter. Gravesite services will begin at 1:00 at Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario, CA. Reception to follow after.
