Josephine Bernadette Bello

Our beloved Josephine "Joey", went to be with the lord, peacefully at home on December 13th 2022.

On June 11th 1932, Joey was born to Anne Francis Kropinski and Kasmire "Kaymay" Tarapczynski in Niagara Falls New York. In the Summer of 1952, She married Peter James Bello Sr, on May 5th before moving to Upland CA in 1968. She raised 7 children, (Leo, Annemarie, Sharon, Peter Jr, Richard, Samuel and Paul.) She ended up loving 7 Grandchildren and had 12 Great-Grandchildren and a few more bonus great grandchildren she loved and considered hers. And 1 great-great granddaughter Lilah.

Mrs. Bello had numerous occupations, from owning a hair salon to a beauty Boutique, restaurant owner while juggling GE and the United States Postal service, where she delivered mail and processed passports as well as had served time in the Consulate. She retired against her will at age 82. She loved her Casino hopping and referred to her outings as time with her boyfriend "Chief Wahoo". Joey had a contagious sense of humor and a love so fierce for her family. Her smile could brighten any room matched with her hospitality. She was known in the neighborhood as everybody's Mom and Grandma. She always had something cooking, especially Sunday dinners, never fell short of a pot of sauce full of meatballs and sausage. She made sure everyone ate and went home with something for later.

She will be greatly missed by her huge family and countless friends. Thank you Joey for being you and raising all of us to be our best!
