Joe Santa Cruz Hernandez

Joe Hernandez of Rancho Cucamonga passed away at the age of 85 surrounded by all his loved ones on February 9, 2023. Joe was born on February 15, 1937 in Rancho Cucamonga CA. Joe is survived by his beautiful wife Mary Lou Hernandez of 66 years. His children, Rosalie Hernandez, Joanna Norris, Arthur Hernandez, Mark Hernandez, Mary Jo Sanchez (Robbie), Anadine Villa (Maurice), Paul Hernandez and Robert Hernandez (Jennifer). Joe is preceded in death by his parents Jesus & Maria Hernandez, sister Nellie Felix, Brother Steven Hernandez, son JoJo Hernandez, son-in-law Billy Norris and Levi Hernandez his little dog. Joe had 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Joe also has 3 Brothers Mercy, Raymond and Jess Hernandez. Papa longed to meet his four new bundle of joys that he loved and could not wait to hold. Even though he did not get to meet them, they will know just how much he loved them. Joe retired from General Electric Aviation in Ontario CA in 1993. Our dad was the most loving man when it came to his family. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren. He was so loved by all who knew him. The love my dad had for his friends and neighbors was genuine. No matter what trial he faced, he always pushed through; our dad was so strong and so-so brave he fought with all that he had until his GOLDEN HEART stopped beating. Dad you fought the good fight, & finished the race, as you entered the gates of heaven, and received your crown of glory, you heard the most beautiful words that we all long to hear say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful; enter into the joy of your master”. Dad we will miss you for the rest of our lives. Until we meet again- With so much love and respect, Your family~
