Jeannette graduated from Nuremberg American High School, Nuremberg Germany and received Degrees from University of California Riverside. She taught in the Rialto Unified School district since 1970 until her Retirement in 2019. Jeannette took pride in her students and she shared her passion for learning with thousands of children over the years. She was married to Victor Luis Santiago and that marriage produced three children. Jeannette is survived by her daughter Kiva Santiago, sons Nicolas Luis Santiago, and Victor Christian Santiago; Granddaughters Jordin Santiago, Zoey Santiago, Summer Santiago, Jeannette Camila Santiago; Grandson Christian Luis Santiago; her Sisters Helen Scott, Desseria Johnson and Brother Alfred L Johnson III. Jeannette was a dynamic presence who was always cracking jokes. She had an infectious laugh & a mean two step. Her quick wit & humor were unparalleled. She could lure you in and keep you on the edge of your seat with one of her ever theatrical stories. She had a love for life, shopping & Antiques. She was the personification of strength. Strong willed, strong mannered, strong loving. She was a loved Mother, Wife, friend & Educator. Jeannette’s biggest accomplishment was being a mother to her three children. She always put them first and wanted nothing but the best for them. She loved music, artwork, book, dancing, and she loved her green tea. She always saw the good in people and was always there for a friend in need. You could count on Jeannette to be there anytime you called. Her faith was strong and it guided her to push through any challenges put in front of her. Jeannette was a bright light dimmed way too soon. Her love and generosity was beyond measure. She will be immensely missed & treasured for life times to come.
