My deepest condolences to James’s family and fellow loved ones. James was always so beautiful and kind. I remember seeing him for the first time over 10 years ago when Silencio had that dream compound everyone was living at, and thinking to myself ooo who’s that? Okay, he’s Abe’s boo! He had the most beautiful eyes and gentle voice and was always kind and sweet to me. I remember him smiling and rolling his eyes a lot about most things and always having his camera on him.  He was so calm and also had a very stormy side to him. I think he really expected a lot from life and from people and he was too good for this world. I can’t believe he’s gone. Sending so much love to him and to everyone grieving </3

In Lynwood, this day we went to paint a dark room at a friends house. We planned to start a photo collective because we all loved photography.

James was a peaceful beautiful person. With a huge heart and a calm soul. He was a loyal friend that soothed those around him. To know James was to love him. He was a true artist, a painter, a lover of music and photography. A book worm hungry to find the beauty in things and in life itself. He was stoic. Respectful. Giving. He lived life with such wonder and curiosity. He saw the beauty in people. His purity and innocence permeated through everything and everyone around him. I remember just laying on the grass with you listening to music and the sounds of birds and the the wind blowing through the trees. We would lay in silence for hours taking it all in being in the moment and feeling so alive and free. You gave me a sense of calm and you where the ground and you where the peace, the sky, Mother Earth caressing our bodies. It was all you. I love you James. I just hope you never forgot that.

May your soul rest in peace. Its was an honor getting to hang out with you!
