Charles Edward McMillen

CHARLES E. McMILLEN Age 87, of Rancho Cucamonga, passed away on July 4, 2011 in Rancho Cucamonga, California. It is appropriate that he passed away on Independence Day, as a soldier he valued our freedom and now he is truly free. He was a member of the 78th Infantry Division, 311th Infantry Regiment in World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and receiving a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Charles was a Godly man who loved his family and his country. He is survived by his daughters, Diana Lynn Grout, Maureen Celeste Sable and her husband Bill and Lavonne Joy Stevens and her husband Bob. Charles will be missed by his grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Sean, Shelly, Matthew, Benjamin and Stafanie and his eleven great-grandchildren. A private service will be held next week for Charles McMillen at the Riverside National Cemetery.
