Aurora Felix Mendoza

Laura as she was known by family and friends passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at her home surrounded by her family. She was an Upland resident for 65 years and retired from the job she loved at General Dynamics as an inspector after 35 years. She loved music, dancing, gardening, cooking, the Dodgers but most of all being around her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ynez "Tito" Mendoza and brother's Johnny and Robert Felix and grandson David (Smokey) Joe Fuentez "Segura". She is survived by her sister Ruth Ramirez and three children, the oldest daughter Maria Leos, her only son Daniel J. Mendoza (Gloria) and the youngest daughter Diana Mendoza (John) all from Upland. She had 7 grandchildren; Laurie Christina Segura, Joseph Segura and David Fuentez, Daniel Mendoza Jr., Katherine Mendoza, Greg Cerda and Jay Cerda. 14 great grandchildren; Gabriel Mendoza, Katrina Mendoza, Cheyenne Mendoza and Daniel Mendoza III, Christopher Cosner, Nichole Cosner, Ryan Hewitson, Brian Hewitson, Cynthia Segura, Crystal Segura, Jaylin Cerda, Robert Cerda, Erica Cerda, Sophia Cerda, and 5 great-great grandchildren; Joshua, Jonnie, Madison and Mason Careaga and Jacob Sandoval. Brother-in-law Fortino Mendoza of Arizona, sister-in-law Pena Mesa of Fontana and many nieces and nephews. She was a blessed grandma.

Services will be held on Thursday 10-13-16 at Stone Funeral Home, 355 West 9th Street in Upland. The next day Friday 10-14-16, Mass services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 905 N. Campus Ave. in Upland. Following the service her place of rest will be at Belleview Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street in Ontario. She will be laid to rest next to her husband.
