He was born on June 29, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Jack and Alpha Scott.
Bill was a purple heart veteran from WW II and also served in the Korean War.
He had a passion for golf, pitching horseshoes and painting landscapes. His ability to make people laugh with his quick wit and storytelling was his staple. His patented “smirk” would make you smile even on a bad day. His animated and genuine personality will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill lived in Tripoli, Wisconsin for many years until moving to San Antonio to be closer to his family in 2015.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Romie Summer Shattuck.
He is survived by his two children, Daniel Scott & Jennifer Trevino and his grandson, Evan Scott.
A service with full Military Honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in
San Antonio, Texas at a future date where he will be laid to rest.
