Born June 27, 1953 in Williamsport, PA to Meda Smith Jennings and the late Albert D. Jennings, Jr, he was a 1972 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.
Bill joined the Air Force in 1977 and retired in 2006 after serving over 29 years as a Master Aerospace Physiology Technician. Following retirement Bill remained active with the American Legion, Wounded Warriors, Fisher Houses, and Wreaths Across America. He was also an avid sports fan, loved classic cars, and technological gadgets.
In addition to his mother, Meda Jennings, Bill is survived by a daughter, Kate (Mark) Lopez, Missouri City, TX, a son, John (Christy) Jennings, San Antonio, TX, and five grandchildren, Landon, Leighton, Charlotte, Quinn, and Kalel. He is also survived by three siblings, Donald A Jennings, Sr. , Michael (Cheryl) Jennings, and Linda Jennings.
Full military honors will be presented at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 667, 504 Bowie Dr, Universal City, TX.
