Vera Real Heimer

Vera Heimer, age 92 of Converse passed away February 16, 2011. She was born October 24, 1918 in Converse, Texas to Julian and Gertrude (Stapper) Real. Vera was a lifetime member of the Cibolo Bowling Club. An avid bowler she won many trophies. She was a member of the Community Evangelical United Church of Christ on Hunnicut in San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Heimer; sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Gilbert Schwab; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Elenora Real. Survivors include her brother, Ervin Real and wife Velma; nephews, Ralph Real and wife Barbara and Pat Real and wife Mary; other nieces and nephews, Walter Biegler, Jack Biegler, David Biegler, Joyce Russell, Linda Patillo, Cynde Perry, Walter Heimer, and Diane Barnes; brother-in-law, Malford Heimer and many other relatives. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and funeral services will be Monday, February 21, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Stapper Cemetery.
