Serafin V Hernandez Jr.

Serafin V. Hernandez Jr., age 82, of Live Oak, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He was born on September 7, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Serafin Sr. and Gabriela Hernandez. Serafin worked as a parts specialist for 52 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Benjamin Hernandez; sisters, Dora Cavazos, Esther Quinones and Beatrice Montez.

Serafin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosalinda Hernandez; son, Anthony Hernandez (Jo Ann); daughters, Patricia Ann Alvarado (Alfred, Jr.), Elizabeth Hernandez (Guera); 5 grandchildren, Nichole M. Aguilar (Eli), Mark A. Hernandez (Yazmin De-Saracho), Joshua M. Ramos (Nina), Gabriel A. Ramos, Sarah M. Hernandez; 11 great grandchildren, Bailey, Sophia, Izabella, Ezekiel, Annalise, Lilliana, Gabriella, Amelia, Carter, Logan and Elise; brother, Edward Hernandez; sisters, Hortense Villarreal, Alice Puente and brother-in-law, Efren Cavazos.

A visitation for Serafin will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with a rosary service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148
