TSgt. Scott Allen Bowen, U.S. Air Force, Retired

On August 22nd, 2016 Scott Bowen was unexpectedly called to the Lord at the age of 47. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched, but none more than his beloved wife, Eva Lorraine Bowen, children Eryn Lindsey, Stephen James, and Evan Dean. He is also survived by his parents Judith Ann and Emil Dean Bowen, Jr., his grandfather E.D. Bowen, siblings Stephen and Kasi Bowen, Summer Bowen and C.J. Claussen, Emil “Trey” and Barbara Bowen and Kenny and Yessica Bowen. Scott was also a loving uncle to Sabrina, Fletcher and Andrew Bowen. He is also survived by his father and mother in law James K. and Rebecca Sharpe. Scott is mourned by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Scott proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He loved to relax playing computer games or making wisecracks with his family. He enjoyed golf and bowling. Scott had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick-witted. He was always ready to ride a rollercoaster, shoot a game of pool, or just hang out with friends. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016 at Grace Community Church, 701 Kitty Hawk Road, beginning at 11:00am.
