Rose Semersky

On June 8, 2020, Rose E. Semersky passed away at home, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  She was 77 years old and well-loved by everyone.  She was the mother of nine children.  Despite her large family, Rose always made time for everyone.  She always provided support and love for her family.  Rose and her husband, Daniel, proudly boasted about all of their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and their great nieces and nephews. Her precious 10-year-old dog, Sasha, was her constant loving companion.

Rose was preceded in death by her oldest son, Henry Semersky, Jr. and her great grandchild, Gracey Renea Alcorta.  Rose is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel Rios, her sister Margie Canales, her children Anna (Fernando) Garza, Deborah (Janie) Semersky, Paula (Larry Paul) Semersky, Mark (Anna & Chanda) Semersky, Daniel Semersky, Carol (Chris) Garza, Nancy Chavez, Brenda Semersky, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and 3 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews.  We will all miss this beautiful Matriarch of the Semersky family.

SERVICES

Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM sharp at Colonial Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19, Thank you for understanding wearing a face mask to the service is required
