Brother Roger N. Hopkins laid down his working tools on August 27, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born in Elgin, Illinois on April 22, 1942 to Wilbur and Lucille (Cummings) Hopkins. He is survived by his loving wife, June Sekiguchi, 4 children and 5 grandchildren, one brother and 2 sisters. Roger was a very active Mason. At the 98th Annual Convention of High Twelve International he was appointed the Wolcott Foundation Trustee for Zone 3. Among his Masonic accomplishments: instrumental in the moving and re-chartering of a High-12 Club; the International Sergeant at Arms, Past State President for the Texas Association of High Twelve Clubs and current State Secretary. He as very active in at least a dozen Masonic organizations & held leadership positions in his Blue Lodge, Shrine Legion of Honor, the Q, and National Sojourners to mention a few. He drove children and their families to the Galveston Shrine Hospital appointments and treatments. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, Nurse Corps, United States Army.
