Roberto Aguilar Sifuentes

Roberto Aguilar Sifuentes passed away on July 14, 2015 at the age of 87. He was born on May 3, 1928 in San Antonio, TX to Juan and Jesusa (Aguilar) Sifuentes. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Larry H. Sifuentes and Randy H. Sifuentes; survived by his loving wife of 66 ½ years, Anita Herrera Sifuentes; children, Robert H. Sifuentes, Edward H. Sifuentes, Ronnie H. Sifuentes, Roy H. Sifuentes, Carol H. Sifuentes; 20 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren; and one Great-Great-Grandchild. step-brothers, Jesse Betancourt; Daniel Gonzales Jr., Arthur Gonzales and David Gonzales; step-sisters, Yolanda Benavidez and Connie Diaz; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. As a Catholic Roberto’s family always came first. He kept himself active, developing his work ethic well into his 70’s. Roberto worked as a Carpenter, Painter and Night Watchman. He assisted with community service projects for the elderly; enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21 from 5:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
