CMSGT Robert Ross George, (USAF, Retired), died on Saturday, May 03, 2014 peacefully with his family at his bedside. CMSGT George was born on April 11, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to Robert L. George and Edna Oxley George. CMSGT George served 30 years with the United States Air Force. Following his retirement, he worked for USAA for 10 years. In his free time, CMSGT George enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards as well as travelling to Las Vegas, NV with his wife and visiting his grandchildren in California. He is preceded in death by his Father, Robert L. George, and Mother, Edna M. Oxley; He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mrs. Luisa George; Daughter and son in law; Susan and Alan Wintroub; Daughter, Margaret J. George; Son, Ross Anthony George, Grandsons; Isaac Harrison Wintroub, and Nathan Elliott Wintroub. A graveside service with Military honors will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
