Raymond C. Hidalgo passed away on July 20, 2011 at the age of 70. He was born on March 15, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to Ambrosio and Apolinar Carranza Hidalgo. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sandra Ann Hidalgo; survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Annie Vasquez Hidalgo; sons, Michael V. Hidalgo and Ruben V. Hidalgo; daughter, Cynthia A. Pesqueda, her husband Jesus H. Pesqueda; grandchildren, Jessica A. Pesqueda, Ruben Augustine Hidalgo, Christopher R. Pesqueda, Kristi Hidalgo, Brandon Hidalgo, Amber N. Pesqueda and Katherine Hidalgo; great-grandchidlren, Alisa M.P. Salazar and Micaela M. Hidalgo. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, in Selma, Texas. Interment to follow at Selma Cemetery # 2.
