

Pat was the wife of 61 years of Colonel Edward N. Eckert, who passed in 2014.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Dan) Larsen, Nancy (Pete) Selleck, and James (Sandra) Eckert; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Mark) Tidwell, Donald (Melissa) Larsen, Christopher (Arika) Selleck; six great-grandchildren; a sister Harriet Clement; a brother-in-law Richard (Elizabeth) Eckert; and a bonus daughter Barbara (Greg) Troy. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Larsen.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Newman Arnold Tolles and Marian Tolles, Pat grew up in Washington, DC, and Ithaca, NY. After marrying Ed in 1953, Pat and Ed were stationed in many locations around the country and the world during Ed’s 27-year Army career. They lived in Roswell, NM for 25 years where Pat served as the Cadet Hostess at the New Mexico Military Institute. She had lived at the Army Residence Community in San Antonio since 2005.
Pat was a devout Roman Catholic. She was always ready with a smile, a joke, and remarkable kindness for everyone she encountered. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial mass will be held at 1 pm on 3 February at the Army Residence Community chapel. A funeral mass and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
