In 1967, Nana met a young airmen named George Zoll while he was assigned to Ching Chuan Kang (CCK) Air Force Base, Taichung, Taiwan, and on September 27, 1969, they were married. A couple years later in August 1972, they were transferred to the United States. Nana and her children stayed with her in-laws for a short time before moving to San Antonio, Texas in 1973, where she remained until her passing. In 1979, Nana accomplished one of her proudest achievements by earning her U.S. Citizenship.
A loving mother, wife, and homemaker, Nana was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved working in her garden where she enjoyed her flowers and fruit trees. She was also very talented in regard to arts and crafts. Over the years, she has enjoyed sewing, hand embroidery, beadwork, crocheting, and most recently, quilting.
Nana was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, George M. Zoll. She is survived by her sons Chen Junping and wife Maria, Lee and wife Virginia, and Steven and wife Blanca. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael and wife Mariana, Jessica and husband Fernando, Lucas, Joshua, Johnny, and Yezenia and her great-grandchild, Ezra.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on December 27, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148.
