Mary Jane Soto

Mary Jane Soto, age 88 of Universal City, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Mary Jane was born on October 27, 1935 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Richard and Francis (Garcia) Ramirez.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her brothers Ysmael Ramirez, Roque Ramirez, Rudy Ramirez and Johnny Ramirez.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Ben Soto, her sister, Ruth Alvarado, and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin, Texas.
