Mary Cordelia Bonine passed away on April 27, 2012 at the age of 97. She was born on October 15, 1914 to William and Lily Smith Staas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard R. Bonine; sons, James R. Bonine and William A. Bonine; 4 sisters and 2 brothers; survived by her son, Barkley Bonine; grand children, James Bonine, Cynthia Johson and Paul Bonine. During the 1930's Richard helped develope the town of Monahans, Texas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 1:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Monahans, Texas.
