Maria de Jesus Gomez

Mary was born on May 20, 1944, in Seguin, Texas to Domingo and Fidela Gomez.

She was an active member of both St. Thomas More Catholic Church and St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Elias Gomez Jr.; and two sisters, Alicia Gomez and Mague Gomez.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Richard Gomez and Michael Lee Gomez; three daughters, Veronica Chamberlain, Rachel Lee Gomez, and Sylvia Soza; three brothers, Domingo E. Gomez, Francisco Gomez, and Polo Gomez; as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A mass of resurrections for Maria will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana Dr, San Antonio, TX 78218. Following the mass of resurrections will be a committal service at 11:30 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239.
