GERECKE, Margaret A., 85, entered into rest on Monday, August 8th. She was a native of San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Gerecke was preceded in rest by her husband, Robert William Garecke, Sr., a son, Robert William Gerecke, Jr., and a brother, Wayne Wuenschel. She is survived by a daughter, Maxine Gerecke (Donny Jordan); a son, Jerry Gerecke; three granddaughters, Jennifer Crain, Bobbi Gerecke and Brittany Gerecke; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Lilly, Amariee and Kayden; and a sister-in-law, Faith Wuenschel. Her graveside service will be Friday at 9am at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8pm at the Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
