Manuel Alvarado, Sr., WW II Veteran went to be with the Lord on July, 10, 2014. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alicia Alvarado, daughter Yolanda Guel; sons Jose Alfredo and Javier Alvarado. He is survived by his daughters Grace, Maria Elena, Elva, Ofelia, Sylvia; sons Frank, Manuel Jr., Hector, Mark; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, 78266. Interment will follow.
