Linda Yvonne Rangel

Linda was born on June 12, 1950 in Laredo, Texas to Amedee Casso Sr. and Ofelio Casso. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a BA. Linda spent 25 years in Civil Service at several San Antonio bases. She enjoyed traveling abroad and thrifting. In her later years, during retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her two granddaughters.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Amedee Casso Sr. and Ofelia Casso; and her son, Andres Rangel.

Linda is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Oscar Rangel; her son, Chris Boubel (Mona); two brothers, Manuel Casso, and Amedee Casso Jr. (Gloria); her sister, Martha Tijerina (Dennis); her granddaughters, Tania Boubel and Aimee Boubel; as well as several nieces.

In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made by donation to the Animal Defense League of Texas, 11300 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas 78217.

A graveside service for Linda will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Wetmore Community Cemetery, 15041 Higgins Rd, San Antonio, TX 78217.
