Those of you who knew Les knew that he loved life. He was never idle and was passionate about so many things. Les very proudly remembered his service to our country in Vietnam and through his Air Force career - American flags always prominent on his hats, shirts, and house. Les loved his family and took great joy in his grandchildren and playing an active role in their lives. His interests over time included bowling, darts, poker, golf and was a dedicated fan of Nascar and College Football. You will be hard pressed to find a man that took more joy in the discovery of finding a quarter on the ground, a bargain at a garage sale, or a golf ball in the brush. On your next round of golf look for any loose balls labeled “LOL”, rest assured Les found the balls you knocked into the rough while looking for his! Most of all, Les loved to laugh and to make other people laugh. Family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers alike got to experience his lifelong humor. He touched on many lives with his readiness to smile and joke around. Our world will sorely miss this irrepressible good humor and Les will be greatly missed by family and friends.
