She was a fine artist and attended The School of Industrial Arts in Manhattan. Art was always a hobby. She loved to travel and after retirement moved to Texas to be close to her family. She will be missed for her love of life, and gentle heart.
She leaves behind her brother Richard, Her sister in law Ann, and her nephew Mike O’Brien.
A prayer service for Joan will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Following the prayer service will be a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., San Antonio, TX 78266.
