Jane R. Helms Dennis

Jane R Dennis of Converse, entered into rest on August 23, 2013 at the age of 75.Jane was born Jun 23 1938 in La Porte, Indiana, the third of three children of Frederick M. Helms and Margaret Kathryn (Fox) Helms. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife who loved family gatherings, the fall season, camping, exploring and hitting the open road to see where it might take her. Her quick wit and amusing retorts could always lift your spirits. She was a dedicated Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan and enjoyed any music by Alan Jackson. She loved animals and would gladly take on strays (including neighborhood children!) and very near to heart were her beloved dogs and cat Callie. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl; two sons, Frederick C. Dennis and wife, Vicki (Jenkins) Dennis of Bossier City, LA, and Patrick L. Dennis and wife Patricia R. (Doyle) Dennis of Irvine, California and daughter Margaret "Peggy" (Dennis) Mitchell and husband Gregory of Schertz, TX.; ten grandchildren - Frederick Carllen Dennis and Amie (Mellor) Dennis, Jason Scott Dennis and Kristine (Mayumi) Dennis, Michael Lee Dennis and Rebecca (Gaston) Dennis, Carl Allen Dennis and Tayrn Boytin , Vanessa Dawn Manselle and Michael Townsend, Jessica Lynn Manselle and Fred Villareal, Malissa Margaret Manselle, Payton Nell Dennis, Katherine Parker Dennis and Pearce Edward Dennis; eleven great grandchildren - Jaylon Lavon Grant, Avaree Jane Townsend, Kash Keenan Townsend, Caroline Grace Dennis, Christopher Carllen Dennis, Evelyn Michelle Dennis, Kyleigh Jane Dennis, Holly Renee Dennis, Baylee Harper Manselle, Brayden Wayne Dennis and Jesse Blake Villareal. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Kathleen Ann Blum and Margaret Sue Eick. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Inurnment at Ft.
