So glad to have an opportunity to share again how special Glenn was to me as a friend.  I so much miss our bi-monthly lunches which were full of laughter, griping about politics, discussing science.  Will always remember him and miss him with great fondness.

I love and miss you grandpa more than you will ever know.

My sincere condolences to the family.  Though I had only known Glenn for a few years, I must say he  loved people and believed in being there to uplift them.  When I had my knee replacement he was the first to visit me in rehab.  Little more than a year ago,  he and Manuela were there to help me celebrate at my surprise birthday party.  I am not sure who started the Veterans Lunch Bunch but he was one of those who encouraged the friendly gatherings.   Rest in Peace my friend. 

It saddens us to hear if Glenn’s transition. He was a coworker of ours in SAISD. We also were active members of ATPE. We also shared lunch lunch with him and fellow military retirees. Glenn was a true supporter and a great educator. Loved to hear him laugh. Our condolences to the entire family in this difficult time.

One of my fondest memories is the afternoon spent in your beautiful home that you opened up to our 3973rd A.F. reunion while in San Antonio.   The wonderful authentic Spanish dishes you and Maria prepared.....and most of all, the love and warmth from you and Glenn.
My heart goes out to you and your entire family.  You are in my prayers but, please know Glenn will not be forgotten.  He was one of the finest men I ever had the opportunity to meet and know.

Glenn and I worked together at Martin Luther King Middle School.  He was a joy to work with - generous in spirit, loving to our students, humorous, and inspirational in his straight-forwardness.

It was always so special to me that we were able to continue meeting  every few weeks for lunch.  We did this for over 10 years.  Our lunches were always interesting in terms of discussions, and he always brought me a stack of magazines on Science and Humanism and Free Thinker articles.

He will be sorely missed by me.

I met Glenn a long time ago in  our hometown Manchester early 50"s We kept in touch after graduating from High school and headed off to make our career. We were never stationed near each other. When I visited the hometown, his sister or brother  would give me his address. Rest in peace my friend

It’s so rare to spend so little time with someone, yet they make such an impact.  That was Glenn to me.  He was so loving and always smiling.  When I met him, he was helping a woman obtain donated furniture because she had nothing. Then, the next time, similar situation. I saw him at Freethinker activities and knew when he came in the door, I was getting a great hug. My thoughts are with the family.  Love, Stacy

He was a great man, full of loyalty and always willing to help those around him. It's been a privilege to know him.  He is leaving a void in our lives and our hearts. Not enough words to express.

I first met Glenn in 1961 at Moron AB, Spain when he was in law enforcement and roomed in the room next to mine.  Good man.  Great attitude.  Heard later he cross trained into load master career field.   In 1982, while I was passing through Athens, Greece enroute to Turkey, I walked into the NCO club and there stood Glenn in a flight suit smiling.   We got caught up on what all had happened since our time in Spain.  RIP Glenn.  My sincere sympathy to his family.   

Glenn was a great and valued member of our 774TAS Family. I flew many a mission with this man.  Wisdom flowed when with Glenn. He is greatly missed and I look forward to meeting him again in the hereafter when I get the “Green Light” and here him say “Load Clear”!

Glenn and I loved talking politics. We ate together a couple of times and he also came to the Academy of Learning in Retirement besides Freethinkers. I’m sorry I live so far away that I cannot come and join the family today.

I had the great honor to serve with Glenn at Dyess AFB when I started my flying career. He was a great mentor for me and helped my transition to the flying world so easy.  Just remember him as one that always cared. 

Please accept our deepest condolence.  Glenn was a true friend, mentor, fellow airmen and great role model.  We flew many times together while stationed at Dyess AFB and share wonderful memories.  He taught  a young lieutenant a lot about the Air Force and life.  Our Prayers are there for you and your family.

Sorry to hear about Glenn. I flew with him at Dyess AFB in the 773rd when I was a young NCO.  Always looked up to him and had great respect for him. You could always count on him, no matter what. May God bless all of your family in this time of grief. May He give you strength and courage. Glenn will be missed terribly

I was stationed with Glenn at Dyess AFB,TX. He was a good man. We went on several TDY’S and rotations together. We had become friends . One of my great pleasures was seeing you and him at the squadron reunions.  I surely will miss him and our conversations. Rest In Peace my brother. I will see you again. Fly with the Angels.

Manuela, we are praying for your strength to accept what God has done in your life.  We knew Glen while we were there in Converse and you also.   We will see you in a couple of weeks. I called Elizabeth to let her know.  

Great person and friend whom I've  helped doing stuff around the house and will continue helping Manuela as much as I need to. He will be missed by many because he had many friends and made new ones during his worldly travels as a Load Master in C130's. Rest in peace my friend.


I remember Glenn from Dyess. He was always a great person. 

Glenn was a friend and mentor.  We served together at Dyess AFB.  We always enjoyed hearing from him and Manuela at Christmas and at the reunions.  Our prayers to her and to the family.  He will be missed.
