Dorothy Willean Liu went to be with the Lord, August 15, 2017 in Live Oak, Texas at the age of 86. Dorothy was born April 17, 1931 in Ariton, Alabama to Everette Edward and Cletta Bartie Annie L. (Brown) Day. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Ellsworth C. Y. Liu and daughter Melanie Suzanne.
Mrs. Liu is survived by her children, Cathy Liu Scott and husband Lamar; David E. Liu; Steven A. Liu and his wife Maria; Darryl E. Liu and his wife Liz; John D. Liu and his wife Cindy and D. Darlene Liu; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Our lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
