On August 20, 2020 Donna Lorraine Rodland went to meet her maker Jesus Christ. Born on the family farm in Hoffman, MN on September 26, 1928 to parents Roy and Lois Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 69 1/2 years Harold M. Rodland Jr., brother Jack Clark, sister Phyllis Clark and grandson Noel Cascelli.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was loyal and caring to all of her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, needle work, crocheting, playing piano, helping at the chapel, cooking and entertaining. She was an avid believer in Christ and was ready to join her loved ones in heaven when called.
Her favorite bible verse was Psalms 121: 1-8. “I lift my eyes to the hills--- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. He will not let your foot slip--- He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you--- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm--- he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
She is survived by her daughters Patricia Cascelli (Alfred) and Teresa Rodland (Troy Davenport); Grandsons Michael Cascelli (Mary Defranca) and Erik Svihla; Granddaughters Amy Cascelli (Matt Trimmer) and Somer Svihla (Justin Hipp); Great-Grandson Christopher Cascelli; Brothers Larry Clark (Virginia) and Don Clark (Kathy); Sister Sharon Young (George); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
