Debra Kay McDonald, commonly referred to as "Debbie" or "Mom" was well loved by all who she met as she opened her heart and home to everyone. She was born on November 17, 1957 in Edinburg, Texas by her mother Dorothy Jackson and father Bill Davis. She had trials and struggles as she grew in life, she worked as hard and often as possible when it came to her job as well as her home but could just as easily be seen relaxing with fishing pole in hand, sipping a beer on the docks at the coast. Unwavering support was always provided whenever troubled times arose, her advise was to seek what you felt was right, down inside and to never doubt yourself in what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. She is survived by her husband Mike McDonald whose diligence and guidance knows no bounds and her three children; Dennis, Heather and Richard as well as her many grandchildren; Lane, Gavin, Brody, Gage, Kaylynn, Mason and Jocelynn. Her temperment along with her generosity were the mainstay of daily life; she had a weakness for the children, always baking cakes, cookies and other treats as well as crafting decorations for whatever holiday was near "for the kids". Though her love and smiles live on in her children and her childrens' children, she will be missed and revered as one of the many angels who look over us all and give hope and optimism for the future that lay ahead.
