Deborah Gaye Galyon

Deborah devoted her life to teaching, both inside the classroom and on the court. She was a championship volleyball coach in Fort Bend County, Texas and opened the first massage therapy practice in the mid-1980s in San Antonio. Deborah taught 7th and 8th grade science at Kitty Hawk Middle School before retiring in 2014. Her favorite pastime was playing Blackjack.

She is preceded in death by her father, C. E. Galyon, Jr. Deborah is survived by her mother, Wanda Galyon Homewood, brother Clinton Galyon and his wife Nancy, nieces Brandy Aiello, Desirae Martinez and her husband Chris, and Darian Acord and her husband Mike, and nephew Derek Galyon.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 3:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas.
