Clifford Ray Alexander

Cliff Alexander passed away September 1, 2014 in Live Oak, Texas after a yearlong battle with cancer. Cliff was born in Illinois as the second youngest of the five children of William and Fern. He left home after high school to join the Air Force and served honorably for 22 years, including war time service in Vietnam. He returned to his post as a civil servant where he dedicated an additional 20 years of service to our country. He is survived by his wife, Genie, their two children, Clint and Yvonne, Yvonne’s husband Jim, and three grandsons, Logan, Shane, and Reilly McCleskey. Genie and Cliff were happily married for over 42 years and enjoyed many wonderful adventures together including living in Florida, Alabama, Hawaii, and Texas, and traveling all over the world. Cliff enjoyed technology and always pursued the latest gadgets, was an avid dancer, sports fan, and beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Cliff has requested a small family memorial service.
