Bill J. Salyer of Universal City passed away on August 4, 2016 at the age of 88. He was born on March 21, 1928 in New Boston, Ohio to Warren and Faye (Trimble) Salyer. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Georgine and Geraldine Salyer; brother Robert Salyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Emilie; son Steven W. Salyer and wife Sally; granddaughter Laura Emile Salyer and husband Christopher Quinn and grandson Warren Zachary Salyer, US Navy. Bill worked for General Motors for 37 years in Dayton, Ohio and was also a Mason. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
