Adam Victor Mendez

Adam Victor Mendez, age 41, of Kirby, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Adam was born in San Antonio, Texas to his loving parents: father, Federico F. Mendez, and mother, Diana V. Mendez. We never expected for Adam's life to end so soon and we are all devasted by this tragic loss. Adam will forever be tremendously missed.

Adam's caring, loving spirit was felt by all who knew him. He had a goofy sense of humor and a smile that will never be forgotten. Adam loved being outdoors, music, fishing, bar-b-quing and especially working on and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He especially enjoyed the solace and freedom his bike rides provided him. He was a loving father to Chloe S. Mendez, Kaedynce S. Mendez, and Ayden V. Mendez.

He will always be lovingly remembered by his parents, Federico (Fred) and Diana Mendez, his brother Anthony R. Pena, sister-in-law Crystal R. Pena, nephew, Aaron R. Pena, niece, Naomi R. Pena, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and the friends he seemed to make everywhere he went.

We can all find peace and comfort in knowing that Adam is being reunited with his grandparents, David and Josefina Mendez, and Domingo and Esperanza Valdez.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148, on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be at the same location on Monday, September 4, 2023 at 10:30am with the burial immediately following at Valdez Cemetery, 555 Caffey Road, Marion, Texas 78124.
