Teresita Guerrero

She was born on November 24,1949, in Manila, Philippines, to her father Esteban Tomas, and mother Brigida Salangsang.

Teresita would emigrate to the United States in 1975, choosing to settle and build a family in New Jersey. She resided in Hillside for 19 years. Teresita devoted herself to her position as a registered nurse at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from 1975 to 2003. There she later became Assistant Nurse Manager in the Mother-Baby Unit.

She enjoyed watching The Filipino Channel, cooking, and giving food to those she cared about.

Teresita is predeceased by her loving husband Moises, both her parents, two sisters Celedonia and Ester and brother Rodolfo. She is survived by her loving and dedicated daughters, Maritess and Marissa; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A visitation for Teresita will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
