Rosa Maria Maldonado

Rosa was born in Florida, Puerto Rico on November 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Ramon and Inez (Agosto) Maldonado Baez. She is also the loving sister of Miriam Maldonado; Manuel (Daisy) Maldonado; and the late Ramon (Gladys) Maldonado. Rosa moved to New York in 1969 and lived in Brooklyn, New York for most of her life.

Rosa is survived by her loving children; daughter Karen (Jose) Romero; son Jorge (Alicia) Batista; twin daughters Janette (Marta) Batista and Nanette (Orlando) Perez; son Juan (Mirta) Batista; son Jesus (Lucy) Maldonado; as well as life partner of 37 years, Luis Rios. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, Alexis, David, Andrew, Jonathan, Victoria, Sabrina, Marc, Billy, Ava, Jaydon, and Hailey, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rosa cherished her family, her life partner, and every moment she spent with her loving children. She was proud of her family and all their accomplishments.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation service at McCracken Funeral Home on Friday September 18, 2020 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.
