Robert Thomas Campbell

He was born in Union, NJ on April 23, 1965, to the late George Vincent and Marion Ida (nee Wren) Campbell.

Bob was a parking enforcement supervisor for 26 years for the Parking Authority of the City of Elizabeth, retiring 4 years ago.

He was a member of the Elizabeth Dart League, he enjoyed bowling at Jersey Lanes and was in many leagues. When Robert was younger, he enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping with his family. He was a member of the Elizabeth Knights of Columbus. He was very handy and always enjoyed taking on a project. He loved to cook, making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends. Robert will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Christine, his loving son Charlie, his in laws Charlene Thomas and partner Kris Hutchinson, Jeff and wife Mary Thomas, Nancy and husband Dave Gibson, as well as 5 nieces and nephews Vinny Gibson, Dustin Gibson, Kaitlyn Thomas, Audrie Thomas, and Cara Thomas.

He was predeceased by his parents George Vincent and Marion Ida (nee Wren) Campbell as well as his sister Donna Kay Campbell.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home on Sunday November 3, 2024, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am followed by interment at the St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
