Richard J. Troncone, a Korean War Army Veteran passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Born on April 13, 1930 in Camden, NJ, Richard was larger than life, funny, hard-working, and a generous man.
He owned and operated Rich-Aire Co. with his son Rick for over 40 years.
Aside from his family, Rich’s real passion was being a thoroughbred horse breeder and owner since 1958. He knew everything about horses and could talk about the business for hours. Nothing made him light up more than watching them run.
He was also a huge fan of the New York Yankees, loved watching boxing, playing poker with friends, and spending time with his family on the beach.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Joan K. Troncone, a sister, Dolcie Troncone, a brother, Edward Troncone, both of Voorhees, NJ, 5 children, 2 son-in-laws - Lea Ann & Frank LoBello, Boca Raton, FL, Dawn & Charlie Bohannon, Springfield, NJ, Donna Russomagno, Whitehouse Station, NJ, Tammy Troncone, Union, NJ & Richard J. Troncone, Jr., Union, NJ. 11 grandchildren - Allison LoBello, Frank LoBello III, Alexandra Russomagno, Samantha & Collin Eaker, Kendall Bohannon, Gerard Russomagno, Jr., Charles Bohannon, Jr., Andrew Russomagno, Fallyn Bohannon, Julia Troncone & Anthony Ibbotson.
Because of these times, we are unable to have a funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
