Peter F. Matera

Peter was educated in the Union Public Schools and went on to graduate from PACE University.

Peter loved the outdoors, boating, skiing, and the ocean in addition to his entrepreneurial real estate work.

Peter resided in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ at his time of passing and he also previously lived in Union, NJ and NYC.

He was the loving son of the late John & Margaret Matera and brother of the late John P. Matera.

Peter is survived by seven devoted cousins.

A visitation for Peter will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd., Union, NJ 07083.

A graveside service will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067.
