He was born August 5, 1937 to his adoring parents, John (Jack) Joseph Plesko and Marguerite Wallace. During his younger years, Paul attended Saint Columba primary school in Newark, before attending a boy's technical high school. Later in life, he joined the marines, being stationed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma as an artillery and guided missile technician. He would later join the greater workforce as a machinist, something he took great pride in.
Paul enjoyed electronics, spending time with his dogs, the beach (especially Long Beach Island and Cape May), and bowling. Bowling is where he met his beloved wife of over fifty years, Carol Badenhop.
He is survived by his aforementioned wife, Carol Lesko (nee Badenhop), his nieces Lucille Coltey, Donna Lacey, and Barbara Nancarrow Alvarez. Paul is predeceased by his late brother John Lesko Jr., sister-in-law Violet Lesko, and niece Dorothy Lesko.
A visitation for Paul will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A funeral service will begin Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. A graveside service will occur immediately following this at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
